Introducing The Hidden Levels

Hidden Levels-1

I’ve been writing, podcasting, and producing video covering movies and TV for a good while now, but one crucial piece to my love of pop culture is video games. Before I ever wrote my first movie review, my teenage self was publishing my thoughts on video games(however poorly written) on my gaming blog.

After years of talk and a couple of months of planning, I am launching a video games podcast called “The Hidden Levels” co-hosted by friends and fellow gamers Austin Lucari and Tyler Johnson. We’re diving further into the industry than just talking next week’s big game by tackling some of the larger and more fascinating trends in the industry such as the evolution of digital distribution, the state of the console wars, and even hot button controversies detailing women’s role in the game industry. But no matter how big or intense the discussion get, it all comes back to the games. Each episode we go over the latest news as well as what we’ve been playing as well as occasionally reviewing some of the bigger more ambitious games that hit the market.

We’ll be putting out two episodes each month and will likely be releasing video specials and extra reviews on our new Youtube page.

As our show and channel continues to grow, we will continue to look for a website to house the podcast. The best way you can support us is by checking out our iTunes  and Youtube pages and subscribing and leaving a review.

If you’re a gamer or have a passion for video games, I can’t wait to hear what you think of my new show. Don’t forget to tune in! See you around the interwebs!
