My name is Caleb Masters and I am a content professional who leads thoughtful and insightful conversations for brands that convert to bottom-line results through new media including podcasts, webinars and live-streamed videos. In my ten years of experience as a content creator, I’ve served as on-air talent where I’ve spoken with thought leaders across the leadership, HR, HCM technology, supply chain and entertainment industries.

In 2017, I launched Paycom’s HR Break Room, a podcast dedicated to quick conversations in HR and HR technology. Through the podcast and Paycom webinars, I lead a team to produce top-of-funnel conversations that drive thought leadership, demand and bottom-line results. Featured guests include Guy Raz, Barbara Corcoran, Simon Sinek, Amy Edmondson, Guy Kawasaki, Hill Harper, John C. Maxwell, Minkah Fitzpatrick, Dr. Henry Cloud and Adam Grant. HR Break Room has been cited as a top HR podcast to listen to by LinkedIn, Vidcruiter, E-days, and Weekly 10.

Additionally, I am the film critic and editor-in-chief of the film essay website, The Cinematropolis, the host of the deadCenter Film Festival’s podcast coverage, an Oklahoma Next-Gen Under 30 award winner and the vice president of the Oklahoma Film Critics Circle.

For more than ten years, I have produced a wide variety of podcasts in various industries. After producing multiple seasons of my Game of Thrones podcast, The Cast Beyond the Wall, for We Got This Covered and more than sixty weekly film review episodes of the Back To The Movies podcast at GoodTrash Media, I joined Paycom’s marketing team as a Webinar and Podcast Producer where I launched the HR Break Room podcast in January 2017. Since our launch, we have established ourselves as leaders in the HR podcast space by bringing in more than 325,000 downloads over our first 100 episodes.

In addition to my career as a podcast host & producer, I have ten-plus years of experience as a film critic. More than a hundred of my film critiques have been published in multiple outlets including the Oklahoma Gazette , The Moore Monthly, Renegade Cinema, Screen Rant, and currently my own web-venture with Planet Thunder Productions, The Cinematropolis.

My expertise as a podcaster has been cited in The SHRM Blog (in 2018 and 2019), the Paycom blog, and Ackerman McQueen Insights. In 2018, I was named one of Oklahoma Next Gen’s 30 Under 30 in the Media, Public Relations, Marketing, and Advertising category.

I’ve worked as a Video Producer both full-time and freelance with clients including The City of Moore and The Last Frontier Council in my previous role at Trifecta Communications. More related to my passion for entertainment, I rebranded a movie review series titled “Cinemaniacs” for The Moore Daily in the fall of 2013. I wrote, produced, and co-hosted each part of the 16 episode web-series.
